There's no single right answer, but there is a right answer for your space. It comes down to how many people use it, whether customers visit, and which areas get dirty fastest.
Restrooms and break rooms
These set the impression of your whole business. Busy offices need them cleaned daily; smaller teams can often go two or three times a week.
Desks and high-touch points
Door handles, light switches, shared equipment and conference tables should be disinfected at least weekly, and more often during cold and flu season.
Floors
Vacuum and mop weekly at minimum. Hard floors in lobbies and hallways benefit from machine scrubbing and waxing once or twice a year.
Typical schedules
- Small office (under 10 people): weekly or twice a week
- Medium office or clinic: two to five nights a week
- Customer-facing retail or medical: daily
