We love pets — and we clean a lot of homes with them. Here's how pet owners keep hair, dander and odors under control between visits.

Hair

Brush pets outside or in one spot several times a week. A rubber squeegee or damp rubber glove pulls hair off upholstery faster than a lint roller, and a vacuum with a motorized pet brush handles carpets and stairs.

Odors

Wash pet bedding weekly and treat accidents with an enzyme cleaner, which breaks down the source of the smell instead of masking it. For carpets that hold onto odor, hot-water extraction reaches below the surface.

Muddy paws and floors

Keep a towel by the door, use washable mats, and mop entry areas more often during wet seasons.

How often to book a clean

Homes with pets usually do best with weekly or bi-weekly cleaning. Tell us about your pets when you book — we're pet-friendly and can use pet-safe products on request.
